Why hybrid
Most signage platforms are designed as though a screen will always be online. In practice screens go up in warehouses, remote branches, exhibition halls and buildings whose network was never meant to carry video.
So Layarva is built to be managed centrally and to play locally: Cloud where the connection is good, Edge where a building has many screens and one uplink, Offline where there is no connection to depend on at all.
The same reasoning put queue management inside the platform rather than beside it. A clinic that needs a queue also needs a waiting-room screen, and those should not be two products, two subscriptions and two design tools.
